Arsenal attempt to match up single fans by launching new BLIND DATE show dubbed ‘The Big Match’

Arsenal plays Cupido by launching a brand new dating show aimed at matching some supporters through their shared love for football.

The Premier League club announced on Friday plans for a series in documentary style called 'The Big Match', in which Gooners are set up on blind data that run around Arsenal games.

Couples meet at a local location before they go to the Emirates together, with cameras that follow them and record interviews after the game to see if Sparks flew the 90 minutes.

An official statement from the club teased: 'Matchdays at Emirates Stadium is a time to make contact with the beautiful game – and each other.

'It is for this reason that we are launching a new dating show that celebrates how a shared love for football can prove a catalyst for an even deeper romance.

“We call on our single supporters in the UK to submit an application to be part of the production, where a blind date attends a colleague -goorer centered around an Arsenal game.”

The show is currently in the casting phase, with single Arsenal fans in the United Kingdom invited to register via a form on the club's website. Applicants must be legally 18 years or older and live in the UK. The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM on April 11.

But before someone gets too enthusiastic about finding love in the stands, the small print offers a few words of caution.

According to the General Terms and Conditions, Arsenal does not intend to 'produce the show' the show, which means that the big game can end as a non-starter.

Even if the cameras roll, hopeful romantics are warned that there is “no obligation to produce and/or broadcast production,” and being filmed does not guarantee that your date will make the definitive reduction.

Even if you are not entirely fair about your relationship status or background, the club reserves the right to pull the plug. Background checks are performed and successful applicants must sign a separate participant agreement – probably ensure that all first -date disasters are of them to possess forever.

Still, for many fans, the chance to bind a Declan Rice Screamer or to grumble together about another failed title bid can be exactly the kind of romantic ice breaker they have waited for.

A fan wrote on social media: “Only Arsenal could combine heartache and hope so perfectly – both on and outside the field.”
