Arsenal does not allow Kieran Tierney to join Celtic until the summer – despite the fact that the player agrees during a relocation in January.
Tierney, 27, was made to wait on return his emotional return to Glasgow, with Gunners -Baas Mikel Arteta who wants to keep him as an option for the second half of this season. Celtic recently demolished the Loan from Alex Valle from Barcelona, with Rodgers hoping to add Tierney to his team for Monday 11 p.m. “I think we agree that it will certainly take place in the summer. If we can do it in advance, then great,” he confirmed prior to Wednesday's 4-2 defeat against Aston Villa in the Champions League.
“I don't want to speak too much about it with the greatest respect, because he is not a Celtic player here now. But if we can do it, we would of course want to do that, but that is out of our control at the moment. “
In December Arteta said about the future of Tierney: “He is fully dedicated. After a long period of time he enjoys a really serious injury, so lives the moment. He is now a large part of the team. He earns it in to be the team and really played well in the team, so that is the only thing I can say. “
