Arsenal reportedly completed the signing of £ 12 million by Brentford Captain Christian Norgaard.
According to athletics, Arsenal pays an initial £ 10 million reimbursement for the Denmark International with another £ 2 million in ADD us.
Norgard is reportedly undergoing a medical prior to the move, whereby the deal is expected to be officially announced in the coming days.
The 31-year-old will strengthen the midfield of Mikel Arteta with the proven Premier League experience and leadership qualities.
He drew a new two -year -old deal in Brentford in March because he did not want to uproot his family in the midst of serious interest of Benfica.
Norgaard came to Brentford in 2019 and was enormously influential in their rise of the Premier League.
The midfielder made 196 performances for Brentford and helped the club to be secure in 2021.
Norgaard was appointed captain of Brentford by former bees and now Tottenham -Baas Thomas Frank in 2023.
Last season Norgaard played 34 times in the Premier League and also brought in five goals, his highest count for the club.
Norgaard becomes Arsenal's third signing of the summer, while the side of Mikel Arteta will take the next step, after he has been the Premier League twist for the past three seasons.
The most striking addition of Arsenal to the date is the signing of £ 60 million from Real Sociedad and Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who had been a long-term objective for the club.
The Gunners also signed Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £ 5 million, with the Scotstopper being established as the Understudy of David Raya.
Arsenal also comes after the sporty Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres in a deal with a value of a maximum of £ 70 million, with an attacker an important priority this summer.
Chelsea -Vleugel player Noni Madueke reportedly also agreed personal conditions with Arsenal prior to a proposed step.
The arrivals of Norgard and Zubimendi come at a time of unrest in the midfield of Arsenal, after the departure of Jorginho and Thomas Peny.
Partey, who spent five seasons in North Londs, saw his contract end on 30 June.
Only three days after his contract had passed, Partey was accused of five counts of rape and one count of sexual violence. Pedey is accused of attacking three women between 2021 and 2022.
He will appear on the Westminster Magistrates' Court on 5 August.
'The player's contract ended on 30 June. Due to current legal proceedings, the club cannot comment on the business', a club statement read on Friday.
