Arsenal have sold Josh Robinson to Wigan Athletic in Mikel Arteta's first deal of the month.
The twenty-year-old defender has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract for the League One team. The Hale End academy product did not make a senior appearance for the Gunners, but he was one of the substitutes for North London in four or six Champions League games this season.
Robinson, who can play in the center or on the right of defence, has played in three EFL Trophy matches this season, scoring against Leyton Orient. The youngster was developed by Arsenal from the age of 11 and has represented England at youth level.
