
Arsenal has appointed Andrea Berta as their new sports director.
Berta became the leading candidate who replaced Edu after resigning to take a position in the network of clubs led by Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis. He started working with immediate effect.
The 53-year-old left Atletico Madrid in January after a spell of 12 years.
