Arsenal is on the market for a number of attacking players and Ebereechi of Crystal Palace has now emerged as a serious target of the summer transfer for Mikel Arteta and Co
Crystal Palace will not consider selling Ebereechi Eze for an amount lower than the £ 68 million release clause in the player's contract, in the midst of interest in the midfielder from Arsenal.
The Gunners are looking for quality attackers prior to the new season and have identified Eze, 27, as a serious target. But with Arsenal who also looks at deals of big money for Viktor Gyokeres and Rodrygo, among others, it is still to be seen whether they can also finance a deal for Eze.
It is known that Eze has a release clause in his contract, which is left for two years to walk in Selhurst Park. But although reports have indicated elsewhere that Arsenal can try to sign Eze for less than £ 68 million, Crystal Palace will not entertain lower offers.
The FA Cup winners appreciate Eze on the amount that is his release clause and as such will fall to that sum to that amount.
Interestingly, the clause stipulates that the £ 68 million must be paid in three episodes – a third in advance, a third summer and the last payment in 2027. There have been suggestions that Arsenal would like to finance the deal over a longer period to land a player who was a player who was in their books as a teenager.
The Gunners are supposed to have offered Real Sociedad a little more than the specified release clause for their playmaker, Martin Zubimendi, to pay the Spaniard in installments instead of one lump sum. But Palace wants to pay reimbursements for England Ace Eze according to his contract.
Eze has also attracted an interest of Arsenal's arch rivals, Tottenham, after a Stellar campaign 2024-25 who culminated the winning goal in the FA Cup final for the Eagles.
It is also said of Arsenal that it is in advanced conversations with Sporting Lisbon about a deal for Gyokees, while they have aimed at signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid.
Both potential deals would contain significant transfer costs in addition to the sum they have paid to extract Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, which is more than £ 50 million.
Consumption can help finance those deals plus a dive for Eze, which is also able to play wide on the left and could appear there as an alternative option if a movement for Rodrygo cannot materialize before the end of next month.
Fabio Vieira is one of a number of surplus players who can be sold after returning to the club after a loan saying with his old team, FC Porto.
