Arsenal's attempts to sign a new striker this summer have not been flexible as a deal for sporty CP striker Viktor Gyokeres seems to have rented as Andrea Berta looks elsewhere
Arsenal Face has to put their tail between the legs and return to RB Leipzig about a deal for Benjamin Sesko – after reaching an impasse with sporty CP in negotiations for Viktor Gyokeres. Gunners Transfer Chiefs would have left Lisbon with the clubs far apart in their valuations.
The return of Gyokees was delayed by the Portuguese champions in anticipation of getting a deal over the line, while he also manage the threat of the Sweden International to manage strike. But Arsenal is now supposed to be willing to run away from the deal.
And Gyokees and his representatives now fear the worst about the prospects of a transfer. Arsenal had long wanted a new striker because it is a priority to add a goalscorer this summer and see the club aimed somewhere else.
By holding negotiations in Portugal, the North London side will restore their interest in Sesko. Arsenal initially had advanced deals with both Sesko and Gyokeres, with the first even said that they are their favorite target.

Arteta wants to see a striker who is added to his team before Arsenal flies to Singapore on July 19 for a tour for the season through Asia. The Gunners have already confirmed deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi this summer when the club tries to go better in the Premier League.
Gyokees now seems to have its own backup plan. The ex-Coventry Striker is said that he remains unclear that he will no longer play for Sporting and will try to agree a loan agreement with a European club.
Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce side is reportedly among the teams that keep an eye on the situation. Juventus also monitors the prospects of Gyokeres while they want to add a striker.
