Liverpool's confirmation as Premier League champions means that Arsenal will probably end up as second for a third consecutive season – and their fans want action this summer
Arsenal supporters have begged owner Stan Kroenke to splash the money on a world-class striker after he saw Liverpool win the Premier League title. The Gunners seem to be in second place for the third consecutive season and fans believe that action in the summer transfer window can bring them to the next level.
Because their side did not play, Arsenal fans had a lot of thinking at the weekend and events had been together elsewhere to promote their demands. Liverpool insured the Premier League title with a 5-1 win in Tottenham in Anfield, who always came but was still injured in Arsenal, who did not abolish the trophy since the famous Invincibles did this in 2003/04.
In the meantime, their heads were shot on the same day by Viktor Gyokeres who scored four goals in the 5-0 victory of Sporting Lisbon in Bavista. Gyokeres' goal record is almost not really looking, read 52 goals and 12 assists in 48 games in all competitions.
The Swedish striker is strongly connected to a relocation of Sporting this summer – and Arsenal fans are desperately looking for them to participate in the race for his signature.
After Liverpool had taken traces, a tweet from an Arsenal fan went viral. It said: “Hope Arteta had the team look at it together on the training field.” A fan answered with: “It is his fault and De Kroenkes for a shameful decision not to sign attackers in the summer. They may have made the entire project possible.”
News that Gyokees had filled his boots again and then filtered by Arsenal accounts on X, causing a wave of requests to be supplied. “I actually knew that we would not win this season, the PL -stay that the book is ready,” wrote a fan. “We have to sign Gyokeres or else this project is ready.”
Another argued at the club: “@ARSENAL, please go to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer !!” A third added: “Viktor Gyokeres scored four goals for Sporting Tonight, that are 51 goals for Club and Land this season. I don't care what your opinion is, just bring him to Arsenal. Clinically.”

The opinion that Arsenal was lacking a productive goal scorer has chased them in recent years from chasing the Premier League title under the management of Mikel Arteta. It was an easy conclusion to draw this season after injuries to Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli struck at the same time.
Arteta has introduced Mikel Merino in advance, and although the midfielder has had some success, it is clear that a new attacker is required this summer. The Gunners are expected to pay £ 51 million to sign the real Sociedad -midfielder Martin Zubimendi, but attackers are also on the wish list.
