Bukayo Saka has returned to light training to give Arsenal a timely injury boost.

The international of England was operated on at the end of December after a torn hamstring in the 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

Saka is only expected in March – but he has now taken a big step towards availability after returning to strengthen and conditional training.

The attacker and his teammates traveled to their winter training camp in Dubai prior to this weekend to Leicester, where he accelerated his schedule prior to his expected return.

The club released new photos of their graduate Academy on Monday, completing a session in the temporary basis of the club in the middle to the delight of their supporters.

Saka's return to action cannot come fast enough for Mikel Arteta, who also misses Gabriel Martinelli with a hamstring injury.
