Arsenal given green light to complete Evan Ferguson transfer THIS month

Arsenal has received a transfer boost after reporting that Brighton is ready to have Evan Ferguson permanently depart in the January transfer window.

This month Ferguson was associated with a switch to the Emirates, with boss Mikel Arteta who needed more depth after losing Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus to injuries.

Arsenal has missed a recognized No. 9 to increase their title hoop after they had brought most of the goals on Kai Havertz – and Ferguson would give them a solid option in attack.

The permanent signing of Ferguson would save a headache for Arteta, who already has two loins in Raheem Sterling and goalkeeper Neto. Premier League clubs are only allowed a maximum of two domestic loan players in their team.

The 20-year-old is interested in a number of teams this month, in which West Ham thought it led the race. Bournemouth, Everton and Marseille are also claimed that they keep an eye on his situation in the midst of a lack of minutes at the Amex, according to athletics.

The report claims that the seagulls are initially open to a loan agreement, but are now willing to punish a permanent exit for the correct price. It adds that one bid had already been rejected.

Ferguson has disturbed his progress as a player in the past year by seeing injuries disturbed and almost 12 months without scoring a goal after an ankle injury that kept him outside for six months. Since Christmas, he has not played for Brighton anymore, with Baas Fabian Hurzeler handed him only two starts in the Premier League this season.

Earlier this month, Hurzeler confirmed that he would like to borrow Ferguson to another Premier League club, but only if it was useful for both the club and the player.

“We will negotiate what is important to him, which is important for his development, where he can best improve and then we will make the decision together,” said Hurzeler.

“This decision should be what is best for the player and for the club. For example, we sent (facundo) Buonanotte to Leicester.”

This month Arsenal is also linked to movements to Newcastle attacker Alexander Isak, as well as Red Bull Leipzig -star Benjamin Sesko -although that deal might have to wait until the summer.
