This would be a nice draw for Arsenal if they had a full team, but without firepower now, I don't see them blowing PSV away. It has turned into a difficult tie.
Arsenal did not succeed in scoring in their last two games and they only scored against Leicester, who have left goals in the last 10 minutes.
I hope that Mikel Arteta will stop playing Mikel Merino. I can't get my head around it. I know he came up against Leicester and scored twice, but Leicester is Leicester, they are not very good.
I would play Raheem Sterling in the front. He is lively. Defenders will like to play against Merino every day of the week. He is not a center ahead. At least Sterling was played there earlier.
This will be a dangerous game. I would expect Arsenal to go through it, but I don't think it's an just as much conclusion as what it was. I can see it a long way.
The title race has disappeared and this is now their season, but even after it they are right against it. They still have to play Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinals – and Real would surpass Arsenal.
Then they have to play Liverpool or anyone in the semi -final. It is probably easier to win the competition and they are 13 points behind.
You can send a bad 45 minutes out of the game. I don't see Arsenal blowing away in 45 minutes. Arsenal just doesn't have the firepower to do that.
Liverpool will not win at PSG
I don't see Liverpool win in Paris Saint -Germain – they have to come back with at least a draw.
This is a game where one of these two teams could finish the draw in 45 minutes if the other has a day off. That is why this is a good cup. Both parties can absolutely tear you apart.
We saw that with PSG in the MAN City competition, with four goals in the second half, and we have seen Liverpool destroy teams. I don't think there is a lot in it.
PSG is now a team. They don't have a lot of superstars anymore.
They went in a different direction and it worked. With all those players they used to do, they never looked like winning the Champions League.
PSG cannot afford to lose the first stage because the second stage, with the atmosphere at Anfield, is a different game.
Self -compliance could stumble Villa
It is a good draw for Aston Villa, but it will be a difficult game. Club Brugge is not bad, they tore apart atalanta, which in my opinion was a bit of a shock. Bruges also defeated Villa in the competition phase when Tyrone Mings put his hand on the ball.
I expect Villa to go through it, but I hope that people don't pop up who think they are already over. Self -compliance is the one who could do them.
Marco Asensio has been excellent. He also has big goals in games. I know he has done a lot lately, but he has not been to Real Madrid and PSG for no reason. He did very well.
If someone comes by, the biggest compliment that you could say, many clubs will think: “Why didn't we get him?”
Marcus Rashford did well, better than I thought he would do. He would enter the Manchester United team every day of the week, so I still don't get it.
Villa did not miss Jhon Duran, but I didn't think they would do that. He is a super sub. It speaks volumes that Villa has rejected a bid for a 29-year-old Ollie Watkins and chose to sell a 21-year-old Jhon Duran. That tells you everything.
Youri Tielemans has been very good. He is always willing to get on the ball. He can see a pass and scores every now and then.
He was a bit in and out in the beginning, but I imagine that he is now one of the first names on the team magazine. He is a smart player. Always a fixed seven or eight out of 10.
