Arsenal hit Eze transfer problem after Mikel Arteta’s summer spending spree

Mikel Arteta will like to continue to strengthen his team this summer, but the £ 68 million release clause from Ebereechi Eze appears to be too spicy for Arsenal after having spent already £ 195 million.

Arsenal's summer spending Spree has not yet reached its conclusion with Mikel Arteta and Transfer Chief Andrea Berta still takes admiring looks at Crystal Palace star Ebereechi Eze.

The Gunners have so far imposed £ 195 million on six new signing sessions with the last arrival Viktor Gyokeres in line to make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur in a Hong Kong Friendly on Thursday afternoon. But Eze, who played as a boy in front of the club academy, is still the target of Arteta that is determined to have a deep enough team that is finally able to use second place in the first place.

As reported by athletics, however, only a deal is closed as a palace reducing their asking price. The attacking midfielder has a release clause of £ 68 million in Selhurst Park, which regards Arsenal too high.

And while Eze is in favor of a movement over the Thames, Palace is not a financial pressure to sell – regardless of which European competition they will compete.

The FA Cup winners are waiting for a decision by the Court or Arbitration for Sport after submitting an appeal against UEFA's decision to kick them out of the Europa League because the administrative body decided to enforce their multi-club retention of title.

Instead, they are ready to participate in the less lucrative conference competition, in which Nottingham Forest takes their place.

In the meantime, Arsenal is preparing for a new attack on the Champions League and domestic matters with star man Bukayo Saka that is already high in the dressing room.

“Yes, we are very enthusiastic that we have some new signing sessions,” said Saka during their eastern tour. “The same group, we are all top quality players. We have the confidence that we will have a large year.”

Arsenal starts with the Premier League season with a trip to Manchester United on August 17. They have already made a number of large movements in the transfer market, but can look for further reinforcements in the attack despite adding Gyokees to their team.
