Arsenal hold Joshua Kimmich talks as Mikel Arteta faces up to new transfer reality

Arsenal has launched conversations to sign Joshua Kimmich, it is claimed, in a beautiful summer stup.

The German midfielder is available for nothing this year, with his contract in Bayern Munich ends in just a few months. The Bundesliga giants have tried to bind him to a new deal in the Allianz Arena.

It was previously suggested that Bayern Chiefs had withdrawn their last offer after he had insisted on increasing his wages of £ 320,000 a week. And now it seems that Arsenal strives to take advantage of the impasse.

According to Sky in Germany, the Gunners have already held conversations with Kimmich during a movement. He is said to be interested in hearing what she – and another foreign club – have to say and has in informed Chiefs Max Eberl and Christoph Freund about the offers.

Bayern still hopes for an agreement about a long-term stay, although there is further interest on the French side Paris Saint-Germain. “New deal? Of course we know that we cannot wait forever, but we want to give Joshua a little time and let his thoughts become mature that Bayern Munich is the club where he wants to continue, “said Eberl about the future of Kimmich. “That is legitimate.”

If Arsenal seduce him to North London, the 30-year-old is seen as a potential replacement for Jorginho. The Italian is without a contract at the end of this season and is expected to move Brazil.

“My contract is until June and my goal is now to think about the next game, which is in three days. There is not much to think about, you know?” Jorginho said about his future.

He added: “It's a possibility [returning to Brazil]Yes, in the future it is a possibility. As I said, I have never played professionally in Brazil, so it would be an incredible experience for me.

“So this door is of course also open. Keep all doors open and decide to do something in the future.”

Kimmich came to Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2015 and he made more than 400 performances for the club. At that time he won eight Bundesliga titles, the Champions League, three German cups and a whole series of other titles. Kimmich is also a 97-times German international who made his country for his country in 2016.

On Thursday, Mirror Football reported that Arsenal and Arteta plan an ambitious summer overhaul, with the Gunners who again miss the Premier League title. Arteta wants to improve a new areas, but there is a realization that they are forced to sell before they can buy.

This includes potential outputs for Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli, who are both interested in Saudi Aarabia.
