Arsenal -Manager Mikel Arteta is expected to finally dive on the transfer market this summer in their search for a self -assured striker who can be more of an attacking threat. Both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz have sustained injuries this season that the Spanish head coach left without NO9, despite the option to buy in the January window.
According to the Italian Outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal is interested in signing Fiorentina Vooruit Moise Kean, who was a failed signing a few years ago for Everton when he only scored four goals in 39 performances for the club. However, he is in second place on the Serie A Top Scorer list with 15 goals this term, behind only Atalanta's Mateo Retegui (22), and is certainly one to view this summer.
Kean has a release clause of € 52 million (£ 44 million) in his contract that has attracted interest from both West Ham United and Newcastle United that is clearly not disturbed by his earlier struggles in the Premier League. The Gunners are strongly connected to a movement for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, but if that deal collides, Kean would probably be a fantastic backup option for the North London side.
Kean has another four years about his deal, so the negotiating power is at Fiorentina, but he can force himself from the club if the interest is shown if he tries to prove himself again in the best division of England, now with more experience under his belt.
