Arsenal reportedly has submitted a “formal offer” for Viktor Gyokeres.
The Swedish striker is high on the list of Mikel Arteta with attacking goals this summer, which could be his most crucial to date.
And the Spaniard is reportedly moved quickly to try to acquire the services of the sporty Lisbon striker.
Correio da Manha claims that the North Londoners have submitted an offer in the “£ 62 million” region for the Sweden International.
The Gunners is also said to have sent a range of contracts to the Gyokees agent after they met him last weekend at the Women's Champions League final.
A five -year -old deal with an annual salary of £ 5.8 million – which is closely defined by outgoing Gunners – defender Kieran Tierney – is reportedly put on the table for Gyokees.
It is also said that a huge signature of £ 10 million is on the maps for the Swede when he moves to the Emirates.
Gyokeres, 26, was Sports's Star Man last season, scored no less than 54 goals and offered 13 assists in 52 performances.
His signing would offer Arsenal a much needed firepower, a defect, of which their Premier League and Champions League challenge Peter last season.
Arteta is planning to splash the money this summer in what he has promised, will be a “large” transfer window for the 2025/26 season.
He said: “It will be a big one and we are very enthusiastic about it.
“The way we had planned for the first five summers, they would become very big and they would have different objectives.
“Because the reversal of players and the purpose of those windows would be different.
“But now, when you go again, we want to increase the depth of the team.
“But also, we want to increase the quality and skills we need to go to the next step.”
