Brazil International Forward Rodrygo is set aside by Real Madrid, where his future is far from certain after he has been left on the outside and has been looked at so far below the new boss Xabi Alonso, with a transfer as more and more likely to be seen
Arsenal will have to pay more than £ 70 million well to land Real Madrid -Superster Rodrygo. And they could be confronted with competition from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain who would see the price further shoot.
Brazilian winger Rodrygo will probably be sacrificed by the Spanish giants this summer and is a primary target for Arsenal because they want to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
Rodrygo, 24, has been a BIT part player at the Club World Cup and has only played 23 minutes of their last three games and can be sold to balance the books. But Arsenal will not be able to do it cheaply and every potential deal will probably be drawn up with other clubs that are interested in one of the top talents in Spain.
It comes when Nico Williams took out Barcelona to stay in Athletic Bilbao with Arsenal and Bayern who previously liked to help at the Spain International.
Arsenal has also looked at other options, but sports director Andrea Berta makes a name for himself as a club manager who separates different deals and only then will he continue with the number 1 target.
Arsenal fans frustrated that with their striker, because they still have RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyökeres in the mix. They also looked at the Ebereechi Eze of Crystal Palace and there is a clear interest in an English star with a release clause of £ 68 million.
But their winger becomes more complicated and they even looked at the Noni Madueke of Chelsea, who would be a great shift from people like Rodrygo and Williams.
Arsenal, however, also tries to close a striker deal, they have already agreed a £ 51 million deal for Martin Zubimendi, they have concluded a £ 5 million deal for Kepa Arrizabalaga and have drawn up a movement for Brentford's Christian Norgarard. That means that Arsenal will have difficulty paying all their goals with big money, which explains the dilemma about Sesko and also the winger hunt.
In the meantime, Arsenal has mutually agreed to terminate the contract of Japan Defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, who was plagued by injuries during his time in the club after participating in the work in 2021. He is currently out until the new year.
Tomiyasu, 26, a hugely popular figure at the club, is supposed to have been upset personally about missing so many games and felt incredibly guilty while Arsenal has now reached a termination agreement.
In an emotional explanation, Tomiyasu said: “Of course I have many things to say, but what I want to tell the most is just thank you for the love you have given me.”
His words on social media immediately gave support from teammates, including Declan Rice.
