Arsenal is in the vicinity of winning the Premier League title in each of the last three campaigns and the legendary former striker has shared his thoughts about their chances for next season
Ian Wright tipped Arsenal to win the Premier League next season – but only if they make serious signing sessions. The North London side went close to the last three campaigns under Mikel Arteta.
They finished marginal behind Manchester City in 2023 and 2024, while they were also defeated by Liverpool in their most recent season. With the 2025/26 campaign removed a few months, Arsenal Icon Wright is instructed to give his opinion on the opportunities of his former party.
He believes that the side of Mikel Arteta could finally end their long wait for a competition title if they could make a few additions in the coming months. Podcast says about the Seaman via Betway, he said: “I think they will win the Premier League next season because I want them to do that and I believe they are getting closer. I think it is bad luck this season, just the injuries and some of the decisions.
“But they have to make some signing sessions to give them all a boost there. But I am going with Arsenal to win the competition again. Absolutely.
“It is clear that Liverpool will be a different entity. City cannot do what they have done again. Chelsea, now that they have come to Champions League, there may be registrations. It will be a more difficult competition next year, but I will say that Arsenal will go and it will go.”
Arsenal already seems to consider Wright's advice, with a busy summer expected at the Emirates Stadium. The real Sociedad -midfielder Martin Zubimendi has been identified as an important addition and is expected to complete a relocation of £ 51 million to North Londen.
In the meantime, Arteta could choose to add a striker to his team in the coming weeks. Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres is an option, while RB Leipzig -star Benjamin Sesko is an alternative to the Swedish attacker.
