Arsenal -look is set to continue with a busy transfer window and will try to close a new signature after closing a deal for Spits Viktor Gyokeres in the coming days
Arsenal has been busy on the transfer market and has few signs of delay. The first summer of Andrea Berta as a sports director has been one with a lot of activity, because the Gunners want to set up for title costs.
Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke have already arrived through the door in North Londs. But it was a goal scorer Mikel Arteta really wanted to add to his arsenal.
Viktor Gyokeres is finally confirmed as that man. The Sweden International scored 54 goals for the sporting term and is the latest signing of Arsenal.
But the Gunners company may not end there. More arrivals could wait, while the future of players such as Oleksandr Zinchenko and Reiss Nelson still have to be resolved.
Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumors around the Emirates.
Open conversations
Gabriel Jesus has been the subject of an approach to the Brazilian side lamengo. The Brazilian attacker has been compiled to recover from injury, but could still find a loan offer, with the option to buy, for his services, according to RTI Esporte.
The conversations were initially led with Jesus and now his flamengo prepared a proposal after he received a positive indication from the player. The South American giants would be willing to offer a 50/50 salary distribution during the loan saying.
Rapid transfer
After completing the deal for Viktor Gyokeres, Arsenal wants a fast move to sign Ebereechi Eze from Crystal Palace. The independent reports that are close to the player are convinced that a deal will be closed in the coming weeks, and that Arsenal is the top choice of Eze.
The Gunners want to agree on a transfer costs of £ 60 million, less than the reported release clause of £ 68 million. There has been no formal communication about a deal, but both clubs have been set to be flexible, it is said.
Arsenal would rather sell a player before he lands, but it is not assumed that it is a requirement.
Arsenal U-turn
Leandro Trossard and Oleksandr Zinchenko are set in Arsenal according to reports. Both players looked out to leave the emirates, but Mikel Arteta wants the duo to stay for at least one year.
Trossard, 30, has been in contract discussions with Arsenal since the beginning of the year, but has seen links to Saudi Arabia. An extension of the Belgian star would have been offered without a wage increase that has stuck negotiations, but a compromise is now reportedly close by.
In the meantime, Zinchenko would have asked to explore potential transfers earlier this summer. The Ukraine star would have seen a number of conversations with Arteta who have convinced him to stay.
