Arsenal has made Benjamin Sesko their priority goal this summer, while looking to strengthen their front line, but the striker of the RB Leipzig has a number of large wage requirements
Arsenal is frustrated by Benjamin Sesko about his wage requirements, while they want to close a deal for their top goal of the summer. Adding a no. 9 is a priority for Mikel Arteta, but the negotiations are not going smoothly because of its desired salary.
The Gunners want the Slovenian Hitman to be their big summer recruit and be ready to pay the asking price of £ 70 million that RB Leipzig demands. Their failure to quality for Europe has forced the sale somewhat with the highly valued striker for the Premier League.
The camp of Sesko, however, wants a large payment day to land and want more than Arsenal to prepare for pronouncing. It means that, as was first revealed by the sun, the Noord -Londers can withdraw – where sports director Andrea Berta has negotiated several deals at the same time in case.
If so, it would probably take them in the direction of Viktor Gyokees. The Swede is determined to leave Sporting Lisbon this summer after another stunning year for the goal, but the 27-year-old knows that he is not the first choice of Arsenal.
Arteta and Co are also aware that Manchester United remains particularly enthusiastic about Gyokees. Ruben Amorim would welcome his former player in Old Trafford, but Arsenal can offer Champions League football, which could help them with negotiations.
Arsenal has chosen to add a productive frontman in recent windows, give priority to other positions instead. However, it came back to chase them in the last term because they had an abundance of injuries, while Kai Havertz's finish abandoned him.
It has put pressure on the club to tackle the problem, especially after they missed the Premier League title for the third consecutive year. The Gunners could also miss other goals with Nico Williams who sealed a switch from Athletic Bilbao to Barcelona.
Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace is also on their hit list, but the defender is on the Radar of Liverpool and has doubts about his playing time at the Emirates in view of the collaboration between William Saliba and Gabriel. However, the feeling in the team is that new faces will arrive.
Jurrien Timber told the matchday podcast, he said: “It will certainly be a busy for Arsenal. I think we will get a lot of players, because we had so many injuries last season.”
