Arsenal is in line a summer movement for the real Sociedad -midfielder Martin Zubimendi this summer, but their search for a new no. 9 looks like a more difficult deal to take off
Arsenal believes that they will have a clear run with Martin Zubimendi – but are confronted with more competition on their Spits goals.
Real Madrid is also strongly connected to the real Sociedad midfielder Zubimendi with the Spain star with a buy-out clause of £ 51 million in his contract. Despite the arrival of the new sports director of Arsenal, Andrea Berta, the Gunners had already done an exhaustive amount of work to get a deal for Zubimendi who is huge by Mikel Arteta.
The foundation has been laid for the midfielder and Real Madrid still have to continue with concrete importance to see if they can hijack a potential deal. But Arsenal's plans for a new attacker are less advanced, whereby Berta defends Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres.
Arsenal boss Arteta is a long-term admirer of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, while they have scouted and praised RB Leipzig-striker Benjamin Sesko for more than a year.
Manchester United -boss Ruben Amorim Kent Gyokeres of his time at Lisbon and there will be no shortage of interest in him.
Chelsea shows interest in the Liam Delap of Ipswich, but are also interested in Sesko who appeals because he is young and raw, but all the assets has – pace and physicality – who put him in the first place on Arsenal's radar.
Arsenal has served that identification well so far, as Jurrien Timber left a huge success before Edu left the club earlier this season.
Sesko seemed to be the excellent choice, but now for whom they go, because the NO1 will be an interesting indicator about the direction of traveling on transfers.
Arsenal also wants a left wing player with Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams and Espanyol keeper Joan Garcia as a new NO2 in what could be a busy summer.
But it would be unthinkable for them to do all that company without spending and there has been interest in both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martnelli.
