Arsenal sent firm Piero Hincapie transfer message as private jet cancelled

Arsenal continues to follow a deal for Bayer Leverkusen -defender Piero Hincapie and they also stay in advanced discussions with Porto about a movement for Jakub Kiwior

Bayer Leverkusen is currently refusing to negotiate under the £ 52 million (€ 60 million) Release clause of Arsenal Target Piero Hincapie. The Gunners would like to close a deal to bring the Ecuador International to North Londs on a first loan that would become permanent next summer.

Hincapie has already reached an oral agreement on personal conditions with Arsenal about a long-term contract and he left the field in tears on Saturday when he seemed to say goodbye to the supporters of Leverkusen after the 2-1 Bundesliga defeat against Hoffenheim.

The Emirates Stadium is its primary destination of choice, despite interest from both the Premier League and Europe and he is actively insisting to join Mikel Arteta's Premier League -Titel candidates. Leverkusen, who have already lost a large number of important players this summer, including Florian Wirtz, Granit Xhaka and Jonathan Tah, does not feel under pressure to continue to weaken Erik Ten Hag's new look team, especially this late in the window. The German side says that every deal must be on their conditions, especially given the 23-year-old until 2029 is under contract in the Bayarena.

In the meantime, Porto is still waiting for the green light of Arsenal to continue with a deal – a first loan with an obligation to buy – for Polish defender Jakub Kiwior. The 25-year-old likes to be on the move and has already reached an agreement during a five-year contract in Portugal, but Arsenal still has to approve his exit and shake a deal with their Primeira Liga-against hangers.

Mirror Football understands that Porto has made plans to fly the player to Portugal for medical tests on Tuesday evening, but the private jet set up to transport Kiwior was previously canceled this afternoon because the discussions are advanced but on track.

Porto hopes for a rapid resolution, but as it looks now, Leverkusen has communicated to Arsenal that they have to activate the Hincapy release clause to land the Ecuadorian and that is something that the Gunners still have to bind.

Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr, Zinchenko would loosen Fabio Vieira, Arsenal would offer extra through capacities, but they have already punished a club record expenditure that has exceeded £ 260 million after the conquest of Ebereechi Eze.

Kiwior is still expected to become a member of Porto, because Arteta is supposed to respect Kiwior's attitude on a transfer, since he remains second in the command of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the Emirates Stadium.

He was back under the subs on Saturday when the Gunners Leeds demolished 5-0 in the Premier League after he was omitted from Arsenal's Match Day Squad for the opening day 1-0 win in Manchester United.
