Arsenal has strengthened their team in the summer transfer window and the knock-on effects are now felt by Mikel Arteta, with one of his squadron players restless
Leandro Trossard stops signing the new contract offered by Arsenal because he wants to keep his options open. Trossard is constantly connected to a relocation of North Londs in the summer transfer window and the situation can soon come to a head.
The Belgian has been a relocation of Brighton in January 2023 at Arsenal and it has been found that it is a useful utilities for Mikel Arteta. He has contributed 28 goals and 23 assists in 124 performances in all competitions, but his future is currently in the air.
Arsenal has chased new signing sessions throughout the summer and has won Viktor Gyokeres, Crithian Mosquera, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arizabalaga and Christian Norgaard. But they could still sign another wide forward by Arteta – and that is partly the reason why Trossard is reluctant to show his hand.
The Gunners are enthusiastic about a £ 60 million deal for Crystal Palace star Ebereechi Eze, which makes the status of Trossard in the team unclear, with competition already in the form of a new arrival Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Nwaneri, Ethman.
There was a feeling that Arsenal would entertain this summer offers for Trossard, after he had previously received an offer from Al-Eittihad at the end of the Summer Cans Fander Star of 2024. And the athletics says that the 30-year-old would not put a pen on paper about a contract that would improve his wages at Arsenal, but would not extend his stay after 2027.
Trossard's current contract will end in June 2026, but Arsenal has the option to extend it by another 12 months. There is interest from Turkey and Italy this summer, although nothing concrete has arisen yet.
He changed agents earlier this year and left Josy Comhair for DH Sports and Entertainment Agency in German. However, as Mirror Football reported, it is not seen as the desire to leave, but largely because of Comhair's health problems.
The range of al-ittihad last summer was to take Trossard for a first loan agreement, with the option to make it permanent for £ 25 million. It was only rejected because it came too late in the window, so Arsenal did not leave time to find a replacement.
Earlier this summer it was suggested that Arsenal Trossard appreciated about £ 17 million, but he is not in the same position as Fringe players such as Oleksandr Zinchenko, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Fabio Vieira and Karl Hein, who are all on the transfer list.
Conversations about a new contract for the attacker were canceled for the first time in October, when Edu was still in charge as a sports director. But it is now Andrea Berta in the lead at Arsenal and it is still to see how flexible he will be on the market.
