Arsenal star reveals FIGHT with Van Persie, left ‘fuming’ in his first training

An Arsenal Invincible has revealed that he was involved in a grounds for training with Robin van Persie after he quickly became irritated by the striker.

Van Persie spent eight years in the club after participating in Feyenoord in 2004 and helped them to win the FA Cup before they left for Manchester United in 2012.

He scored 132 goals during his 278 performances, but after controversial supporters refused to sign a new contract and move to United, where he tasted Premier League Glory in his first season under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The frontman also aroused tensions among his teammates, according to Jeremie Aliadiere, who played 10 games during the historic Invincibles campaign of Arsenal.

Aliadiere trained in addition to a number of world class players, with Van Persie being included. However, the duo did not come to the best start, which led to a melee during the very first training session of the Dutchman in the club.

Aliadiere spoke on the podcast from my left podcast: 'I didn't like the man very much. Me and he had fought on the first day. I was number 30, which has always been my number. That year, number 11, Sylvain Wiltord's left, so I think I feel like 11.

'In the summer I think I change number when the preseason starts. Well, before the season starts, I still have 30 and Robin comes in and takes 11.

'We started training, first day, I get the ball, protect the ball. He starts kicking my shin.

'Just kick my Achilles out of nowhere. I was already messing around with him because he took my number. I turned around and pushed him. '

Despite the training ground -suffle, the duo was ultimately able to solve their differences with Aliadiere who admit that they later became friends.

Aliadiere came to Arsenal in 1999 as a 16-year-old from Clairefontaine and made 51 performances under Arsene Wenger, scored nine goals.

He left in 2007 and joined Middlesbrough for a first fee of £ 2 million.

Bizarre enough, Aliadiere believes that the move from Arsenal to the Emirates from Highbury in 2006 was the main reason why they stopped winning trophies.

“I personally believe that moving to the Emirates was the big, big factor,” he told the mirror. 'Financially the club had to sacrifice players and build the team by choosing to go to a larger stadium to get more income.

“That's what I think happened. We have moved and I remember that Arsene said that “we will be pretty tight for more than ten years to pay the stadium back”.

'So yes, we still wanted to challenge the Premier League, but Man United and Chelsea managed to spend more money on players already made.

'While we were younger players, still have a little experience, but not the experience of the players bought Chelsea when Jose Mourinho arrived and all the money they could spend.

'We were financially limited with the stadium, which played a role in Arsene Wenger who was unable to buy more experienced players I feel because we lost a number of important players, all those big names.

“All senior players were at the end of their arsenal careers and I think the young boys who came – were us – good enough and talented enough, but may not experience enough to win the Premier League.”
