Arsenal superstar Martin Odegaard eyeing Real Madrid reunion

Real Madrid's favorites to continue to the quarterfinals of the Champions League after a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in the first stage of their round of 16 draw on Tuesday, although the return leg will be in the Metropolitano next Wednesday.

The winner of the draw between the two Madrid clubs will almost certainly be confronted with Arsenal, who beat PSV Eindhoven in their first stage on Tuesday. The Premier League side is certainly a very heavy test for both sides, although the one who comes through would have the advantage to host the second stage in their stadium.

If it is Real Madrid that progress, they would compete against Martin Odegaard, who was in their books from 2015 to 2021.

Odegaard is not a resort of his failed saying at Real Madrid, and speaking with Amazon Prime (via Relefon), he admitted that he would like to stand with his former club in the next round of the Champions League.

“It would be special to go back (to the Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid). Who we also play, we will be ready, but first we have to finish the work at home and then we will see who we get. '

Real Madrid will be well aware that Arsenal will be their opposition if they succeed in avoiding the defeat in the Metropolitano next week. They have not often confronted the Gunners with the Gunners, although they were beaten out of the Champions League by them in the 2005-06 season, whereby the London club eventually loses against Barcelona in the final that year. On this occasion Los Blancos will hope that they are those who are progressing, but first of all the focus is on reaching the quarterfinals.
