Arsenal threaten to poach 20-year-old gem from under Real Madrid’s nose

Real Madrid has no shortage of attacking options, with Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo in the hope of operating in the spaces between the defense and the midfield of the opposition. That is why it is no surprise that they allowed Nico Paz to leave the club and to seal a move to Serie A Upstarts Como this summer.

The Argentinian playmaker is one on the part of Cesc Fabregas this season and attracted compliments from Italian football. The 20-year-old earned his first international limit for the Albiceleste in the second half of last year, and so far has 5 goals and 4 assists in 21 games, for one side fighting relegation. They are currently 15th, only one point above the drop zone. Only Patrick Cutrone at the front has more target contributions for the Alpine Outfit this season.

According to Tuttosport, Premier League Giants Arsenal, as referred by Diario, sent scouts to keep an eye on his development in the coming months. They have not made any offer and are aware of Real Madrid's return option, but want to be on site quickly if a chance is opened for them.

Los Blancos sold Paz for € 6 million last summer after a handful of performances in the first team, but retained a sale of 50% and a return option for € 9 million next summer. Even if they do not intend to use him as a first team option, it would be no surprise to see them exercise their option, because Los Blancos could make a profit on Paz who sells him himself.

That could make things difficult for Arsenal or other potential lovers such as Arsenal, although in other similar situations they still have to pull the trigger on a return option of € 9 million at Girona left back Miguel Gutierrez, despite interest from elsewhere. Van Los Blancos is also said to keep a close eye on the situation of Paz, while Inter has also shown interest in a movement for Paz.
