Arsenal has made Ebereechi Eze their main goal with the Premier League season for less than three weeks, while Crystal Palace hopes to retain their leading light
The summer company of Arsenal is far from ready with Mikel Arteta who still wants to add more firepower by his side prior to their latest crack in the Premier League.
The Gunners -Baas finally got the striker he was looking for with Viktor Gyokeres who recently arrived at the Emirates. He agrees with more than £ 100 million in talent in Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke while the North London persons continue to strengthen their ranks.
Earlier in the summer of Nico Williams and Rodrygo, Arteta was also heavily connected to a move to Arsenal, but both movements now look unlikely. The most important target of Arsenal has now emerged as Ebereechi Eze, whose stock continued to rise with Crystal Palace.
He played an important role in winning the FA Cup, but is thought that he would like to make a move to North Londs. The Eagles, however, would hate to lose another leading light. Here is the last of the Emirates.
Palace plea made
Oliver Glasner has argued at the palace board to not sell any of their star players such as Eze, warning that it could derail their season. The 27-year-old is sought by Arsenal, who made him their priority when approaching the last month of the summer.
Marc Guehi is also associated with a move to Liverpool after the captain of the palace had introduced the last 12 months of his contract. Eze is now tied up to 2027, but has a release clause of £ 68 million. Arsenal, who has spent £ 194 million so far, hopes for less than that a deal to be closed, reportedly about £ 60 million but one incentives for Palace.
Liverpool wins racing for teen
Arsenal will miss the Teenage Star of Salford City Will Wright, who instead seems ready to go to Liverpool. The Reds agreed a deal worth £ 200,000 with the League two-side for the 17-year-old striker, who scored more than 50 goals in age groups last season.
Wright underwent a medical medical and a deal to take him to Anfield on Tuesday is now in the final phase. The Gunners were rather favorites to sign the young star, but seem to have missed with those in the northwest of the West.
The head of Liverpool of Academy Recruitment Chris Downling is supposed to have played an important role in the Wright decision. He opted for a move to Liverpool and was sold on their long -term development plan, while geographical reasons were also a factor.
Xhaka's reasons to return
Granit Xhaka felt the opportunity to set up Sunderland in the Premier League, returned to England a good chance of rejecting after his move from Bayer Leverkusen. The former Arsenal star left the English top flight two years ago for the Bundesliga and claimed the German title in the first attempt, but has now chosen to return.
The Swiss midfielder said: “When I spoke with the club, I was excited and I felt the energy and mentality that all people and players have. It is exactly what I wanted, and I have a very good feeling. We are back where this club should be, and we want to stay here to write our own history.”
“I feel that I am ready to help the team with my experience, but also with quality. We have to find ourselves on the field, but I don't think this will be a big problem. It is a long time ago to wait, but I am here and I am looking forward to it.”
