The coaching staff of Mikel Arteta will be stimulated by the arrival of former Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze prior to the new campaign.
But the Gunners say goodbye to taking Hiro Tomiyasu after a shock agreement to end his contract for 12 months early. The Japanese defender struggled with injuries for a large part of last season, but it is unclear why the decision was taken to be separated to see how Arteta admiringly talked about him during his stay in North Londs.
Arsenal will also not sell Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard in the summer window, with the emphasis on strengthening their attack with just over a month to go until the new Premier League campaign starts.

Tomiyasu Termination
Defender Takehiro Tomiyasu will leave the club after an agreement has been reached to terminate his contract. Tomiyasu, 26, played only six minutes of football after knee operation in 2023 last season.
The defender is expected to be excluded for five months after a new operation in February. The current Tomiyasu deal must end at the end of next season, but he will leave the Emirates a year earlier.
In 2021, the Japanese international came to Arsenal on Italian side Bologna for £ 16 million plus potential add-ons after taking rivals Tottenham.
He spent a large part of last season offside due to a series of smashing injuries.
Duo not for sale
Arsenal is not going to sell Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard this summer if things are standing- but it is expected that five fringe players will be moved before the transfer window is closed.
The Gunners have big plans this summer after they have been second in the Premier League for a third consecutive year and the strengthening of the attack is a priority. The club is looking for a new No. 9 and a left-wing player at elite level, with further additions in midfield also planned.
Talk that Arsenal is looking for new faces in attack, in turn speculated about some of the current players of Mikel Arteta.

Heinze addition
Former Manchester United star Gabriel Heinze is added to the coaching staff of Mikel Arteta prior to the new season. The Gunners have already had a coaching re -repair prior to the new campaign in which former assistant Carlos Cuesta left for Parma.
Arteta has left that departure with a vacancy to fill and it seems that he has turned to someone he knows pretty well in Heinze. According to athletics, the former Red Devil's defender will be appointed in the Emirates as a replacement for Cuesta.
Arteta and Heinze already have an earlier relationship that teammates have been with the French giant Paris Saint-Germain.
Arteta explained the impact that the Argentinian had on him and said: “The other inspirations were (Mauricio) Pochettino and Heinze, those two were next to me, behind me, and they guided me in everything I had to do in my professional life, how to understand the game and they were inspiring for me.”
