Arsenal is set to a huge summer in the transfer market, which finished second in the Premier League for the third season in a row, and co-chairman Josh Kroenke said that the club is ready to support Mikel Arteta.
“We are planning to invest to go behind and do better the next season,” said Kroenke. “We are pleased that we have our sports director, Andrea [Berta]who will play an important role in this.
“He is part of a united and strong team, supported by the board, which are crystal clear on exactly what we have to do and the way we want to do it. The right way. The Arsenal manner.”

Record Transfer Deal
Arsenal reportedly comes after a movement for 17-year-old Greece International Konstantinos Karetsas.
According to reports in Greece, Arsenal is talking to Genk about a deal for the midfielder via the Athens Macedonian News Agency. It is claimed that an agreement is 'very close', with a general package worth £ 38 million on the table.
In the deal, Karetsas would remain on loan for the 2025-26 campaign and would be a record compensation for a Greek player, where the record was broken by Kostas Manolas when he came to Napoli from Roma in 2019.
Williams update
Athletic Bilbao President Jon Uriarte has shared an update about the future of Nico Williams, with Arsenal the wing player.
“I believe we have a winning and interesting project for everyone, and Nico is part of that project, just like many other players,” Uriart told the Spanish Outlet El Correo. “The project becomes easier if we keep our players – and I believe that Nico and the rest of the team have a very exciting year.”
Williams currently has a release clause worth around £ 50 million in his contract, which runs until 2027, but reports have claimed that Bilbao is trying to persuade him to sign a new deal.
Tavares Exit
Nuno Tavares has completed a permanent move to Lazio after having spent on loan last season on the Serie A -side.
Tavares came to Arsenal of Benfica in 2021 for £ 8 million, but failed to become a regular starter when he made only 28 performances in all competitions. He was shipped to Lazio on loan last summer, where he made 30 performances in all competitions.
And Lazio has now paid Arsenal £ 6 million, which can rise to £ 7.5 million, to make the move permanent. In a statement Arsenal said: “Everyone at Arsenal wants to thank Nuno for his contribution to the club and wish him the very best for the future.”
