Mikel Arteta has strengthened its Arsenal team in the summer, but the Premier League twist of last season could have a little more things to get between now and 1 September
Arsenal has been one of the busiest Premier League teams this summer, but their expenses may not be over yet. The Gunners have an A to Z of new signing sessions – Arrizabalaga to Zubimendi, to be precise – but there will still be two weeks off the window to go after they started their Premier League campaign against Manchester United on Sunday.
The goal is to sign a player who is able to make deep in certain circumstances and play in certain circumstances of the front three. More specifically, the goal is Ebere Eze, but things may not be easy.
Manager Mikel Arteta indicated that the expenses are not over when the right chance arrives. To meet the asking price of Crystal Palace for Eze, they may have to raise money via Sales.
Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos both left, while the release of Thomas Pedey has cleared a considerable wage budget. Fabio Vieira, Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior could still follow.
However, there are two deadlines for Arsenal – not only September 1, when the window closes. Here are the latest rules of Mirror Football from Noord -Londen.
Eze release clause Deadline
Arsenal only has until Friday to meet the release clause of Ebere Eze in Crystal Palace. An £ 68 million offer would be sufficient to land the English star now, although Palace still accepts a similar amount after the deadline.
Travel for Fabio Vieira and Leandro Trossard are the most realistic sources of the funds for a movement. Stuttgart wants Vieira, with a reimbursement of approximately £ 16 million, while Trossard has previously attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Funds can also be picked up from other sources, with an interest in Jakub Kiwior, Karl Hein and Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Gunners are also open to the discharge of Reiss Nelson, although no club has reached their asking price.
Arteta plays the role of the field
Mikel Arteta will be back in the dugout on Sunday while Arsenal starts their competition campaign. For that, however, the Spaniard has been confirmed as a brand ambassador and director of performance with sports brand Under Armor.
“The collaboration with Under Armor is the perfect opportunity for me to work with a partner who is committed to making young athletes better,” Arteta said in a statement. “I am passionate about offering a platform for the next generation of players who come to football and the highest level of talent that has already been drawn to the brand shows that Under Armor is.
“We share the same mentality to always strive for more by finding new ways to innovate and disrupt the game at the highest level. Our values when pursuing greatness are closely aligned and I am convinced that we will achieve great things in football.”
Eze told Arsenal to reject
Ebere Eze is supposed to promote a switch to Arsenal above the joints of rivals traces. Former Gunners, however, Theo Walcott is not convinced that the move would be the right one for him.
“I think the big question whether the big one we should look at is that it is the World Cup year,” said Walcott about football. “If a player, if it is a World Cup year, I think:” I will consistently play for Palace this year, so if I am Eze, for example, my thinking process is, for example: Arsenal is clearly a different kind of pressure. “
He suggested that Eze would have various responsibilities if he moves, adding to it: “The good thing to the situation of Eze is that he can play every week and he has the Maverick style that he accepts and take those risks. I think he is a player who can take those risks in Palace. I don't think he will get that at Arsenal.”
