Arsenal has been busy in this transfer window after adding three new players – with another on the road in Noni Madueke – but Mikel Arteta is still waiting to get a new striker he desperately needs
Arsenal -fans are waiting full of excitement for more news about transfer goals after they have seen the club do a number of deals -without delivering the striker they so desperately crave.
Mikel Arteta has so far broken up three signing sessions in this window – goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielders Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard.
In the meantime, Chelsea wing player Noni Madueke is on his way to completing a medical over his £ 52 million deal.
But some Arsenal fans are not happy with the company that has been done so far after a petition has been launched against the signing of Madueke, while there is frustration about the failure to get Viktor Gyokers' signature over the line.

Arsenal stays in a stalemate with Sporting Lisbon about Gyokeres and it is the transfersaga that looks like it will continue until the Deadline Day.
The Gunners will certainly hope to avoid that despite the fact that Sporting explains a “cooling -off period” in conversations because they have not reached a breakthrough.
Arsenal has proposed a package of € 65 million (£ 56 million) plus future payments of € 5 million and € 10 million (£ 8.6 million) in add-ons, but a gap of € 5 million (£ 4.3 million) remains between the two clubs.
Gyokeres would be furious with sporty about their stubbornness and wants the situation to resolve as quickly as possible – with the player reportedly in strike prior to his expected return to the training for the season.
He has now given an interview to the French outlet L'Equipe who discussed his future – because he admitted that he would like to play in the Premier League after he had not reached the figure while he came to Brighton at the start of his career.
“It is one of the biggest competitions in Europe. I spent a few years there without playing a single game. So of course it is something that I would like to do. It would be big revenge!”
When asked if he could stop using, he replied: “Maybe. That is football, you never know. I don't think about it; we will see what happens. If something happens, it will. The most important thing for me is to play for a club that really wants me.”
Maresca teases upcoming Madueke announcement
Arsenal -fans know that one signing is just around the corner – even if many may not be too enthusiastic about it.
Madueke is ready to strengthen the songs of Arsenal on the wing after the end of the Loansepruk van Raheem Sterling and he will give Arteta further options alongside Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli.
He is the fourth signing of the club of the summer and Chelsea -Baas Enzo Maresca has now spoken about the deal that is taking place for the first time, Madueke was just “Hours” removed from becoming an arsenal player.
“Noni is in contact with a new club,” said the Italian. “I think he's going to leave the next hours. I said in one of the last press conferences that if players want to leave at the end, it is difficult for the club and for the manager. Noni decided to leave, nobody told noni that he had to leave. If he is happy, we are happy.”
Gunners Snap Up Son of Ex-Champions League winner of Chelsea
Nowadays there is quite a few transfer company between Arsenal and Chelsea. Here is another Gunners deal for an ex-blues star, but it is not a direct deal between the clubs.
Arsenal broke up the 17-year-old left back Marcell Washington after a test with the club last season. He last played for Chelsea and is actually the son of Ryan Bertrand, who won the Champions League with the blues in 2012.
Washington has now signed a professional deal with the Gunners after he had impressed eight games with the Under-21 campaign in the 2024-25.
The teenager revealed how his father had played an important role to lead him through his career so far and said he wanted him to become a “better version of him”.
“I think it was such an honor to have him taken by clips and to lead me through games I played,” he said. He is really passionate about making me a better player and probably a better version of him. We may have a bit of a fight about it, but you get it out of him
“I think [Arsenal] Is of course a really big club. The club always strives to win trophies. I am just looking to be an addition to that and see what I can offer the club. “
