Arsenal will wear ‘No More Red’ jersey in the FA Cup clash against Man United

Arsenal have officially announced that they will wear the 'No More Red' shirt in the FA Cup match against Manchester United.

No More Red is a joint initiative first launched in 2022 to support 40 years of Arsenal in the Community and build on Arsenal's work to protect young people from knife crime and youth violence.

No More Red continues to evolve and grow, with a commitment to supporting youth through three core areas: investing in safe play spaces, providing ongoing opportunities for connection, and championing community role models.

To mark the fourth year of the initiative, adidas and Arsenal have brought together Zakaria Hassan, George Hobden and Amy Scanlon, who are all recognized for the positive difference they make in their local communities, with first-team players Declan Rice, Miles Lewis -Skelly and Alessia Russo to discuss the impact of No More Red.

Captured in a short film, each conversation explores the importance of access to trusted role models, and the importance of providing safe spaces for young people to thrive and express their creativity.

The work behind No More Red builds on Arsenal's 40 years of work in the community and focuses on three key pillars: investing in safe spaces to play football, providing ongoing opportunities for connection and championing role models for the community.

The kit will never be for sale and will only be awarded to individuals who make a positive difference in the community.

Arsenal boss Arteta also expressed his thoughts on the importance of wearing the NMR shirt on Sunday:

“It's amazing because we have so many people who have put so much effort, spent their lives improving the quality of so many people's lives, creating safe spaces and safe environments. If we have the opportunity to address it on such a large scale, on this occasion we must do it. Well done to the club, well done to everyone who takes part in it because they put so much effort into it and the impact is huge.”
