Arsenal -Superster Ethan Nwaneri scored only 10 minutes on Monday in his full debut for England U21s.
The young attacker, who turned 18 last week, earned his first international call-up for the U21s earlier this month.
He came from the bank for the young lions in their 5-3 defeat against France on Friday.
And after he was impressed by manager Lee Carsley in training, he earned his first start for Monday's collision with Portugal.
England took an early lead in the friendly, with midfielder Hayden Hackney who broke the impasse.
But the advantage was expanded in the 10th minute thanks to Nwaneri.
The Arsenal-Aas received the ball about 40 meters from the goal before it turned, cut in the middle and curled a shot in the top left corner.
Gunners fans responded quickly to his strike on social media, where one person wrote: “This boy is special.”
Another said, “That characteristic goal, you just know it is it.”
A third said: “How do you already have a trademark finish on 18 ??! It is insane.”

A fourth wrote: “Special talent.”
While a fifth added: “This finish is just too easy for him, such a good player.”
Fabio Silva got a goal back for Portugal in the 22nd minute.
Ipswich-star Omari Hutchinson, however, restored the advantage of two goals from England leaving in the match.
Extra strikes from Carlos Forbs and Jaden Philogene saw the three lions to a 4-2 victory.
