The Arsenal wall painting of Ebereechi Eze has been destroyed prior to his upcoming move to the Emirates.
Arsenal left Tottenham Red-Faced on Wednesday evening when they in principle reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign Eze, 27.
Eze looked traces after they have spent 10 days negotiating a deal worth £ 55 million plus add-on-us for Arsenal to creep in at the last minute with a bid worth £ 60 million.
The 27-year-old is now about to come to his boy's club after completing a medical on Friday.
Anonymous artist Northbanksy claimed the responsibility for the mural, which Eze displays in an Arsenal kit.
The art is now ruined after it was splashed with white paint on Friday evening.
Tottenham fans are reportedly responsible for it after the midfielder has opted for a move to their rivals in North Londs.
TNT Sports Pundit and former Rangers -Baas Ally McCoist have questioned the approach of spurs of the transfer.
He said, 'If you [Spurs] Are serious, you make an offer. What I 'reading conditions agreed with Palace and the player
'Get a signature. I have been in situations where the manager does not let you out of the room. Let the contract sign '
Arsenal's sports director Andrea Berta and manager Mikel Arteta met Eze last month and he was sold on the idea of moving to the Gunners, but at that time an offer did not succeed.
Eze is an Arsenal fan of the boy and was released in their youth system before he was released at the age of 13.
His release clause of £ 60 million, plus £ 8 million in bonuses, expired last week.
Daily Mail Sport understands that Spurs has agreed to Palace's requirements on Wednesday and has also agreed the conditions with Eze. The player wanted to complete the move at that stage.
Palace, however, is shown that Eze remains available for their play-off first stage of the Conference League on the Norwegian side Fredrikstad on Thursday evening.
Arsenal then entered on Wednesday afternoon and accelerated the move after Kai Havertz had sustained a knee injury.
