Arteta confirms Ben White ruled out for MONTHS in blow to Arsenal title hopes

MIKEL ARTETA has ruled out Ben White for MONTHS due to injury.

It comes as a blow to Arsenal's title hopes with the star defender sidelined due to an ongoing knee problem.

Arteta said: “Ben will be out for months. It's been different kinds of struggles. It's never been the same. It hasn't improved.

“It got to a point where we have to protect the player. Unfortunately, this will take a few more months.”

White was forced to undergo surgery due to his knee injury, which also kept him out earlier in the season.

The right back has played nine times this season, but seems unable to play again in the new year.
