Arsenal will splash the money on a new striker prior to the 2025-26 campaign and the Londoners have two of Europe's top no. 9s on their summer transfer wish list
The extensive search from Arsenal for a new striker for the 2025-26 campaign will take them a step for Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko during the coming summer transfer window.
The Gunners were hit by injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus during the second half of the season when their Premier League title was wilted and, after they had chosen to keep their powder dry in January, they are now willing to spend great on a new No. 9 to strengthen Mikel Arteta's options.
A large number of names have been linked to a switch to the Emirates in recent months – and it now seems as if the Arsenal striker is limited to two possible options.
As set out by the independent, Gyokeres and Sesko are now considered the two most likely goals for Arsenal, who are also on the market for a left wing player, a midfielder and another goalkeeper.
Both would cost less than £ 75 million, making them budget -friendly options with a lot of work on Sesko, who was a target last summer before the Slovenia star decided to sign a new contract with RB Salzburg.
The new sports director of Arsenal, Andrea Berta, is supposed to give a move for Gyokees, who is probably allowed to leave Sporting Lisbon for less than his release clause – which means that he could be up to £ 15 million cheaper than Sesko.
On 26 Gyokeres may be older than Sesko, 21, but the report adds that the Swede is seen as a closer to the completed article.

Although it is still too considered which of the pair of Arsenal will promote their interest, they are seen as more feasible options than Alexander Isak, with the acceptance that a deal for the Newcastle striker is 'impossible' – even if there is a conviction that the Swede would consider such a movement.
Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao remains the primary target of Arsenal in their search for a left wing player. A handful of Premier League stars are also on the club's radar and can get into the game, depending on how the summer window takes place.
Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa, a target of January, is one of that, plus wolves Vooruit Matheus Cunha and Joao Pedro by Brighton.
