Bukayo Saka will return to action for the first time in more than three months, when Arsenal Fulham welcomes the Emirates on Tuesday evening, Mikel Arteta has confirmed.
The 23-year-old, who sustained a hamstring injury in December that required surgery, could even get the nod against the cottagers from the start.
“Bukayo is ready to go,” said Arteta. 'All careful things have already been done, so now it is about putting him on the grass at the right times, but he pushes because he wants it.
'We respected the time frame, we did everything, we even had to stop him. So he's ready to go. '
Saka was depicted in the first team training last week. He joined the first team team for their Dubai Warm-Weather Training Camp last month, but only participated in the work of the Light Gym.
This season, the wing player has contributed nine goals and 13 assists in all competitions for the Gunners.
Arteta added: 'It is again a huge weapon that we have with him. We know the impact he has on the team and how important his role and contribution to our success is that it is so great to clearly have him back. '
