Aston Villa 3-2 PSG (4-5 agg): Villa’s UCL hopes dashed despite win in 2nd leg

PSG transferred to the semi-final of the Champions League, despite losing 3-2 to Aston Villa on a dramatic evening in Villa Park.

Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes gave a 3-1 lead of last week's first stage and put PSG 2-0 in the night to get full control over the draw.

Youri Tielemans, however, withdrew a goal before Villa started a remarkable comeback from the second half.

Goals from John McGinn and Ezri Konsa set up 3-2, but despite a lively effort, PSG held and continued with a 5-4 total victory.
