Unai Emery has beaten the fixed chaos that causes damage with the Aston Villa season.
The Spaniard is upset at the workload that his club is asked to implement after even more changes to the Villa schedule.
The Champions League -strikers will now play their FA Cup fifth round draw at Cardiff City only three days after a trip to South Londs to be confronted with Crystal Palace. That means that Villa will play for three days in seven days – and Emery has also questioned the timing of next week's struggle against Liverpool.
Villa initially asked the Premier League to use a date later in the season – but that was rejected. And Emery is not happy.
He said: “Football is changing, that is clear. More contact, more duels, more injured players. This is the reality because it is physically stronger than 30 years ago.
“We have to quickly adapt to these circumstances, how we can better manage time between competitions.
“This is our task, but another thing is that the Premier League people, how they can help the teams better balance – to play and manage the same matches, but try to share the schedule better .
“We have to protect English teams that play in Europe. If we can have five teams qualified for the Champions League, it would be fantastic.
“With the help of our schedule as an example, how they put the schedule for the following week is not logical.
“It is not my job, and I have to adapt to the different matches we are confronted with, because there are three games in a week, there is more risk for the players to get tired, to get injured, we have to the Share minutes and we can too. “
