Aston Villa could make surprise transfer swoop for forgotten £112m Chelsea star

Aston Villa has fueled their interest in Joao Felix again – and they could still launch an ambitious bid for the Chelsea star before next week's transfer deadline.

Felix, 25, did not permanently reclaim himself in the summer for £ 38.4 million. It was then thought that he was the best target of Unai Emery, but the Portugal star was set to return to Stamford Bridge after an earlier loan saying.

This season, however, this season is not planned for Felix, and he had difficulty playing time under Enzo Maresca, who has an abundance of attacking wealth at his disposal.

And that could open the door for Villa, who would like to bring Felix according to the sun.

Although it is still too viewed if Villa Felix would permanently take or not, their interest in blues defender Axel Disasi – who will probably accompany it on loan – means that they have to take the former man of Atletico Madrid permanently with them.

Premier League rules prevent clubs from having more than one player on loan from a league match, which would kill all opportunities to sign Felix on loan.

While Felix has only started three Premier League matches this season, the attacker – who joins Atletico Madrid for £ 112 million earlier – took an eye in his first spell in Chelsea during the second half of the 2022-23 campaign.

Chelsea has previously shown interest in Villa striker Jhon Duran and could try to use interest in Felix to gauge whether a deal for the Colombian is plausible.

However, that seems unlikely, given that Emery Shot Down or a move earlier this month in the aftermath of the club's decision to coordinate an £ 57 million bid for Duran van West Ham.

He explained: “It is not only with Jhon Duran, but also other players. I concentrate a lot on how we think and plan every match and every player concentrates on it. There may be some rumors to leave here or come Or to come here from other teams.

“My focus and with the players we have is on the match against West Ham and professional, adult, being responsible and serious. And then of course some players may also leave for other teams in a few days.

“But the group we have here must now be professional and responsible and play, focused on every match. We don't know exactly until the last day of the transfer star how many players we can change in this team – but on Sunday, we are here With the players we have and 100% focused on the game “
