Aston Villa is one of the clubs that have asked for Chelsea wing player Joao Felix while he is looking for more playing time in the second half of the season.
Felix, 25, joined Chelsea for a reported £ 46 million from Atletico Madrid last summer, but had difficulty having enough playing time under Enzo Maresca since he signed his six -year -old deal on Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese star, which is behind the first choice No. 10 Cole Palmer, has only started three Premier League matches since the start of the campaign, making a handful of clubs, including Aston Villa, his situation in Chelsea.
Felix came to Atletico Madrid in 2019 for an astronomical fee of £ 113 million before he finally dropped out with manager Diego Simeone and the completion of Leen Proverbs at both Barcelona and Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old missed the 3-1 defeat of Chelsea against Manchester City on Sunday after he had been granted a compassion to fly home after a family suspension.
Speaking of Felix's absence and struggles for playing time this campaign, Maresca said at the weekend: 'Joao is certainly a Chelsea player.
'The problem unfortunately for Joao and Christo [Nkunku]The manager plays the most games with one attacking midfielder and that is Cole Palmer.
'We have decided to play with an attacking midfielder in most games, so this is why Joao and Christo have trouble getting minutes – not for various reasons because they are both fantastic players, fantastic guys who work well.
'The reason why is only because most games I decide to play with one attacking midfielder in terms of balance. This is why. '
Pushed to the question whether Felix could leave before the transfer window closed, Maresca added: 'I don't say that, I don't say that.
“I say I like both, but the reason why they are struggling is because I usually play with an attacking midfielder.”
Felix is the newest Chelsea star who is interested before the Transfer Deadline of January, with Aston Villa and Wolves both would like to sign from extraordinary defender Axel Disasi on loan.
The West -London club made clear how far the Peckorde Disasi is under Maresca by remembering Trevoh Chalobah from Crystal Palace this month and playing him in their last two Premier League matches against Wolves and Manchester City.
Disasi, who signed Chelsea from Monaco for £ 38.8 million in 2023, has so far only included in six Premier League matches, started four times as a replacement twice.
In the meantime, Manchester United has asked the opportunity to borrow Christopher Nunku for the rest of the season.
Nunku, 27, has endured a frustrating 18 months since he joined the blues of RB Leipzig for £ 52 million in the summer of 2023.
After having spent a large part of last season injured, the Frenchman only started three Premier League matches this time and it can be seen mainly in cup matches for Maresca's side.
Nunku is also sought by the German giants Bayern Munich, while Chelsea Bayern's Mathys Tel would like.
Mail Sport reported earlier that Nunku has agreed to go to Bayern if they pay the asking price of £ 70 million from Chelsea.
This is made intriguing by the fact that the blues have a long -term interest in Teenager Tel, who also checked his availability in the summer.
Nunku is currently bound by a deal that lasts until 2029 and Chelsea is supposed to appreciate him on more than £ 60 million.
