Aston Villa have regularly looked to the La Liga market during Unai Emery's tenure, and are expected to do so again in 2025. They are particularly looking for a new centre-back and after recently being linked with Diego Llorente from Real Betis, they have now turned their attention to another target.
As reported by Superdeporte, Aston Villa have registered their interest in Enzo Boyomo. The 23-year-old Cameroon international has impressed for Osasuna since joining from compatriots Real Valladolid this summer.
Boyomo has a release clause of €25 million, although it is possible Osasuna could sell for below this valuation. Los Rojillos are aware that clubs, especially those from the Premier League, have financial strength that does not allow them to compete.
It remains to be seen whether Aston Villa will make a case for Boyomo in 2024, but if they do, there is no doubt that he is more than capable of competing in the Premier League. Either way, Osasuna will hope to keep him at El Sadar.
