Aston Villa to submit bid to re-sign PSG’s Marco Asensio

Aston Villa will submit an offer to permanently sign Marco Asensio (29) by Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The Birmingham club wants to bring the Spanish international attacking midfielder back to Villa Park after he had spent the second half of last season on loan from the Ligue 1 champions.

Asensio was emphasized as the priority goal of the Premier League club by Monchi, the sports director of the club. However, the club is financially impeded after he has not qualified for the UEFA Champions League. Villa has agreed to sell Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle United and is now in a financial position to make their first offer for the 29-year-old.

PSG has been set for compensation in the region of € 20 million, including bonuses for the former Real Madrid playmaker. Would like to return to Birmingham and has already reached an agreement on personal conditions with Aston Villa. The Spaniard has agreed to a 3-year deal in Villa Park.
