Asu Almabayev shares graphic images of eye injury days after controversial loss at UFC Vegas 103

UFC Flying weight candidate ASU Almabayev's Left Eye is a mess days after his UFC Vegas 103 loss for Manel Kape.

ASU Almabayev suffered more than his first UFC loss on UFC Vegas 103 last Saturday.

Almabayev and Manel Kape collided last weekend in a crucial flying weight matchup between two of the best contenders of the division in the Apex. Almabayev stepped informed of weeks informed to face Kape after Brandon Royval had withdrawn from the main event slot.

Despite the 17-field extraction streak from Almabayev, KARE made it easy to look against the talented Kazakh at UFC Vegas 103. Kape was able to stop the deleted attempts from Almabayev and land some devastating combinations with his boxing and footwork.

Many fans cried wrong for KAPE's victory after several questionable moments prior to the TKO finish. As far as Almabayev is concerned, his left eye is still bloodshot days after the UFC Vegas 103 Headliner.

As shared by Almabayev's manager in an Instagram story, the left eye of Almabayev is poorly affected. His manager tagged Kape in the image together with a 'rat' emoji.

At the moment it is not certain whether or not Almabayev has done extensive medical work to his eye and what his timetable is for a return. The loss for KAPE was the first of the UFC official period of Almabayev after recent victories over Matheus Nicolau, Jose Johnson and CJ Vergara.

As far as Kape is concerned, he could possibly be confronted with UFC flight weight champion Alexandre Pantoja in a rematch for his next fight. KAGE lost to Pantoja through a unanimous decision in his UFC debut in February 2021.

This is not the first time that KARE is central during his UFC career. He landed countless low strokes and eye products during his promotional term of office and received several pre-Vecht fights with UFC 304 opponent Muhammad Mokaev.

Mokaev labeled Kape a 'dirty hunter' after the eye that stuck controversy at UFC Vegas 103. Mokaev was cut out of the promotion last year after beating KAPE by unanimous decision.

KAGE remains the subject of strong criticism after his UFC Vegas 103 performance. Nevertheless, his victory may have put him in line for a title shot.
