Ahead of tonight's Champions League match at the Gewiss Stadium, Beukema acknowledged that he has been linked with Real Madrid.
The Holland international said: “When you read that there is interest, you can't help but smile.
“We will see at the end of the season, but at the moment I am only thinking about Bologna. I am very happy here.”
Beukema also told AS: “I get messages with things like that (laughs). But we'll see, I actually want to do the same as last year with Bologna. I'm very proud to play in this team and I'm concentrating to do my best.
“We'll see at the end of the season. Although it's always nice to read such a message.”
