Atletico Madrid was expected to do little more business on the transfer market, but with the La Liga deflection a little more than 24 hours, Los Colchoneros are now involved in conversations with Juventus about two players.
The word that came from the Metropolitano was that Los Rojiblancos would no longer do business this summer, unless there were outputs, past those of Forward Carlos Martin. However, two reports have come out of nowhere.
Matteo Moretto has reported that Atletico Madrid has opened conversations for Juventus wing player Nicolas Gonzalez, in a movement that could be a permanent deal. The Argentina International is not an important part of Juventus' plans, only one season after arrival at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. The Biaconeri spent € 36.5 million on Gonzalez in the course of his loan and permanent relocation from Fiorentina. The 27-year-old is open to the move.
In the meantime, the German Garcia Grova from TYC Sports has assured less than an hour apart that La Vecchia Signora has also opened conversations with Atletico for Right Nahuel Molina. He was previously linked to an exit in the window and has a deal until 2027. Garcia explains that Gonzalez is an option that was discussed as a result of Juve that the asking price of Atletico did not pay.
Last month it seemed as if Molina would be on his way, but more recently it had been reported that Los Rojiblancos liked to hold him. Likewise, in the last third signing of Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli, their last part of the company was considered, except a departure. It can be very good that Diego Simeone sees both Molina and Gonzalez as right wing backs or midfielders, instead of right backs that can be more logical from a team planning perspective.
