Atletico Madrid report four Real Madrid players for antics during Champions League tie

The tensions were high during the Champions League round of 16 draw between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, and they have not yet cooled down as incidents that took place during the second stage in the Metropolitano have now been forwarded to UEFA.

Vinicius Junior was the most controversial business, because he reportedly made six “shots” with Athleti supporters during and after the game, in which Real Madrid conquered after a penalty shoot-out. And it turns out that he was not the only player who made an attempt to complete the Metropolitano audience.

As reported by El Club Uría (via MD), three other players were also reported to UEFA by Athleti: Antonio Rudiger, Dani Ceballos and Kylian Mbappe.

Rudiger pointed a throat-cut gesture on athleti supporters, while Ceballos reportedly “cut his sleeves” as an act of provocation. And with regard to Mbappe, it is claimed that he has touched his private parts, which is an action that Diego Simeone was forbidden during a Champions League match against Juventus.

None of the four players was punished by UEFA about these matters, although it still needs to be determined whether the administrative body of the European football was aware of them. Anyway, Athleti has now made them aware and she believes that the most serious thing is the one in which Rudiger is involved.

It is still too considered whether Rudiger, Ceballos, Vinicius or Mbappe are being charged by UEFA because of these incidents, although club officials will desperately hope for the ruling European champions, because the idea is for at least three to play back in time to play.
