After their defeat against Leganes last weekend, it is now one win in six La Liga matches for Barcelona. This poor form makes Saturday's clash against Atletico Madrid all the more important for Hansi Flick's side, who are currently level on points with Los Colchoneros.
In recent months, Barcelona have been gradually bringing players back from injury, and the latest to return should be Ansu Fati. He is expected to be included in the squad for the match against Atleti, but according to Sport the match will come too early for Andreas Christensen.
Christensen has been out since August with a nasty Achilles tendon injury, which required two operations. He has been training with the rest of his Barcelona teammates over the past week, although he will not be sent back by Flick. As such, the Copa del Rey draw against Barbastro could be his comeback match.
