What is the Baller League?
The Baller League started in Germany, made by entrepreneur Felix Starck and helped by Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski. It is a Six-a-Side indoor football competition, with the first British season that takes place in the Copper Box Arena in London.
The competition guided by Influencer – with the head of KSI for the British version – sees former Premier League players, Futsal players and celebrities are in 12 teams to win the Baller League.
How will it work?
Each team has 12 players to choose from – selected in a Ballers League concept – with halves of 15 minutes. But there is a big turn to the regular Six-a-Side rules.
In the last three minutes of each half, the teams are reduced to three players per side. Goalkeepers are also not allowed to use their hands, while long -distance goals as double count.
How can I look at Sky Sports and now?
Sky and Baller League have announced a one-year broadcast partnership that Sky Sports will see and now that the TV house of the new Indoor Six-a-Side competition in the UK, in an exciting new era of football.
Every match from the inaugural British season is shown live on Monday evening on Sky Sports Linear channels from the Copper Box Arena in London, organized by Chunkz and Olivia Buzaglo.
The competition starts on March 24, with the top four teams participating in the semi -final and final to determine the winner of the season.
