Barca set to return to Spotify Camp Nou by May, 1st match could be El Clasico

Barcelona are eagerly awaiting their return to Spotify Camp Nou, which has been under renovation since June 2023. The club had hoped to be back in their spiritual home by the end of this year, but delays have meant this won't be possible – at this stage they won't be back until February at the earliest.

Being at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys has generated a significant amount of money in revenue for Barcelona, so club bosses will be determined to return to Spotify Camp Nou as soon as possible. While there were concerns that this wouldn't happen before the end of this season, it is now believed that they will do so regardless.

According to Diario AS, Barcelona will be evicted from the Estadi OIimpic on May 1 – this is because the stadium hosts need to prepare it for other events taking place during the summer.

This could ultimately be a good thing for Barcelona as it ensures they are back home by the end of the season. If they don't return until the latest possible date, it would mean their first match at the Spotify Camp Nou would be against Real Madrid (tentatively set for May 11).
