Barcelona Sporting Director Deco has left the door open for a return for Neymar Junior. The Al-Hilal striker seems to be home to play in Brazil, but will be a free agent in the summer. The Blaugrana are also looking for a left wing in recent transfer markets, albeit in vain, the same role that Neymar performed in his first spell.
Before he moved to the current side Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, Neymar was associated with a return to the Catalan capital as an alternative to Lionel Messi, with the Argentinian on the way to Inter Miami at the time. Speaking with TNT Sports Brasil (via Sport), Deco explained that his wages made an offer from Barcelona unlikely.
“Neymar's return to Barca was always far away. Since he moved to Saudi Arabia, we knew that he was a very expensive player, especially in terms of financial fair play, “Deco remarked.
Yet he was less commitment to the future of Neymar, while he returns to fitness.
“Neymar is one of the best players in the world at best. He is still and will always be. He is welcome at every club in the world. A deal with him can never be excluded, but at the moment I see him returning to Brazil. '
Neymar finds out the back of a serious knee injury that has more or less put him aside since he arrived in Saudi Arabia. During his time at Al-Hilal, Neymar only made 7 performances.
“The most important thing is that Neymar plays football again. That will bring joy for himself and others. To be honest, I don't know what he will do, but the most important thing is that he is happy. '
It seems that Neymar has agreed a move to Santos on loan for the rest of this season, after which he is free to participate in every club he wants. The Brazilian superstar will be 33 in February and has been sidelined by injuries for most of the past three years, but President Joan Laporta, Barcelona, has a preference for star drawings.
